Ponte de Dom Luís I Bridge, Porto
The Ponte Dom Luís I is a double-decker bridge in Porto that spans the River Douro. It connects the Vila Nova de Gaia neighborhood, home to many Port wine houses, with the Ribeira district of Porto. The bridge was designed by Téophile Seyrig and built between 1881 and 1886, replacing an earlier bridge on the same site.
